Trustee (human resources)
A few hours per month. Trustees meet 3 to 4 times per annum.
Future Skills - invests time in children and young people enabling them to re-engage with education and employment. The charity works with 8 - 19 year olds who have been excluded from school or are at risk of exclusion. They aim to develop their self-confidence, personal and social skills, empowering them to return to more full time, mainstream education. They currently deliver 5 projects to achieve this; a two half day social development project, mentoring, a youth cafe, residentials and a youth football team.
Future Skills Training is looking for new trustees to join their board to help grow the reach and impact of the organisation.
We're looking someone with a background in human resources to become a trustee and help the organisation do its work better. Times and days of trustee meetings tend to vary depending on what best suits the Board members but are scheduled well in advance. Trustees may be asked to assist in their areas of expertise outside Board meetings as well if they are able.
